Nick began swimming as a Barracuda when he was 9-years-old, and has been involved with the program ever since. He started coaching at 18-years-old, and continues to have a passion for seeing the team grow today. Nick also coached the competitive Swim & Dive team at Allen Park Middle School for 6 seasons. In his spare time, he likes training for his own open water swimming races and triathlons.

 

 

 

 

Coach Beth Sexton

Beth started coaching the APMS Swim & Dive team in 2018 and joined the Barracudas Swim Team shortly after. She began swimming in Dearborn Heights, her alma mater, and became a coach in Allen Park soon after. She has a passion for working with children, as she continues to persue a career in education while coaching. Beth specializes in breaststroke, and is always looking for ways to improve the performance of the athletes she is working with. Beth is always excited for the next season!

 

 

 

 

Coach Aaron Knoch

Aaron started coaching Barracudas in 2019, shortly after finishing his own swim career on the team and competing as a varsity letterman at Allen Park High School. He has experience teaching in-water swim lessons, lifeguarding at a public pool, and has also earned the high honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. Aaron is enrolled at U of M Dearborn, persuing a degree in engineering. He specializes in coaching butterfly, his favorite stroke. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and working with his cousin's kayak rental business.
