The Metropolitan YMCAs of San Diego County Swim Team (Metro Y) is a year-round, competitive swim team program that regularly participates in USA Swimming sanctioned/certified events. The goal of our team is to provide an opportunity to improve swimming skills while embracing the core YMCA values of: responsibility, respect, caring, and honesty. All of our coaches have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
