Established in 1973, Ben Lomond Swim Team proudly stands as a member of the Prince William Swim League. Nestled within the vibrant community of Manassas, Virginia, our practices are held at SplashDown Waterpark.

From our inception, we've embraced a rich legacy steeped in tradition. Our founding president was a proud graduate of the University of Oregon and an avid Washington football fan. Thus, "The Flying Ducks" emerged as our beloved mascot, first adorned in Burgundy and Gold. Over time, our colors evolved to be black and yellow that you see today, while the artistic rendition of our "Flying Duck" continues to flourish under the creativity of our talented team artists.

For over four decades, the Flying Ducks have championed the spirit of competitive swimming, while fostering a culture of community participation, team spirit, and sportsmanship. Our mission is simple: to nurture individual skills, instill self-confidence, and cultivate personal growth through weekly swim meet competitions. But above all, we're here to ensure that every moment spent in the pool is infused with joy and excitement for our swimmers and their families alike.

Our swim season kicks off on May 28 and concludes on the last weekend in July, offering so many opportunities for our members to dive into the action. And here's the best part – it's never too late to join the Ducks! Any child, age 4-18 is welcome here. Membership is open to all, with no pool or community membership required.
