BT Aquatic Club USA Team is now Open to non-Brownell Talbot Students 

All tryouts take place at the Brownell Talbot Pool, located at 400 Happy Hollow Blvd, Omaha, Ne. Enter parking lot off Underwood.

The basic requirement for our beginning group, is that participants must be able to swim a 25yd Freestyle and 25yd Backstroke across the pool without help.  

If your child is not ready for the swim team, we may recommend private and/or group lessons.  Please see our Swim School tab for further information.

The Brownell Talbot Raiders practice groups fit the needs of swimmers of all ages and ability levels.  Please keep in mind that age ranges are not absolute.  Sometimes an older swimmer who is new to the sport may have to start with a group that is predominantly younger.  Occasionally a very advanced younger swimmer may be moved into a group of older athletes.  These group descriptions are provided to give you a sense of our team’s construction and the progression your child is likely to follow as he/she moves through our program.

 

 

Practices begin Monday, August 28, 2023 

Student-Athletes are only permitted at the practice times they are assigned and committed to.

 

• FALL: August 28 through December 29, 2023

             K-4th Grade $400.00 - Monday through Friday 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm

             Age Group Elite $440.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

             5th Grade though High School $460.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

             NEW Evening Group $400.00 M-W-F 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm Note: Due to the High School Swim Season beginning on  November 13, this group's time will switch  to 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm until February 23, 2024. 

 
• WINTER: January 4, 2024 through March 29, 2024 

             K-4th Grade $300.00 - Monday through Friday 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm

             Age Group Elite $330.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

             5th Grade though High School $345.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

            NEW Evening Group $300.00 M-W-F 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm Note: Due to the High School Swim Season beginning on  November 13, this group's time will switch  to 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm until February 23, 2024. 

• SPRING: April 1, 2024 through May 23, 2024

             K-4th Grade $200.00 - Monday through Friday 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm

             Age Group Elite $220.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

             5th Grade though High School $230.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm  

             NEW Evening Group $200.00 M-W-F 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm         

• SUMMER: May 28, 2024 through July 24, 2024

             K-4th Grade $200.00 - Monday through Friday 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm

             Age Group Elite $220.00 - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm

             5th Grade though High School $230.00  - Monday through Friday 4:25 pm to 6:00 pm  

             NEW Evening Group $200.00 M-W-F 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm

Cost: Annual registration fee:
$125.00 annual registration fee is required for each swimmer and plus each individual athlete with need to register for USA Swimming membership. This fee is due upon first joining and every September thereafter. Once you join. You will be sent a link to register with a team passcode.

Escrow Account: $100.00 

In order to register with USA Swimming, we will also need a copy of your birth certificate a long with the USA Registration form filled out completely.

• FALL: (4 months) + USA Registration + Escrow
• WINTER: (3 months) + USA Registration if not paid in the Fall + Escrow
 • SPRING: (2 months) + USA Registration if not paid in Fall or Winter + Escrow
• SUMMER: (2 months) + USA Registration if not paid in Fall, Winter or Spring + Escrow

Does my swimmer have to participate in swim meets? Swimmers are prepared and are expected to compete in all HOME Meets once the coach feels that your athlete is ready. AWAY Meets, We STRONGLY encourage each swimmer to participate in away meets, however, it is not mandatory. End of Season Championship Meets, all swimmers will compete at the highest level championship meet that they qualify for.
