Metro Records Fall this Week-end at the Wolverine Spring Quack at Lehman College!
At the first short course meter meet of the season, the Flying Dolphins swimmers showed they were ready to swim fast at the Wolverine Spring Quack Splash held on April 10, 2011.
Coach Emily is proud to report from the Junior team, four Metropolitan Records fell in the morning session on Sunday. Kathryn Wang broke three records and crushed all three records by four seconds or more. Kathryn’s record-breaking performances included the 50 Free (38.20), 100 IM (133.60) and 50 Fly (45.70). Teammate Lucy Elliott set her own Metro Record with a finish in the 50 Back (37.49).
In addition to the record-breaking swims, all of the Flying Dolphins came out against some tough competition for a great start to the meter season. The Flying Dolphins had the following first place finishes: Gavin Green, Molly Brickman, Sappha O’Meara, Emily Fennell, and Emily Weiss.
Great Job Dophins :)
