YFD Swam Awesome at Senior Mets

The Flying Dolphins Senior Team posted some impressive swims at the 2012 Metro Region Senior Mets Winter Champs.  While the meet was a challenging format of prelims in short course yards and finals in long course meters, all participating swimmers managed to start the championship season off with a bang.

Molly Brickman placed in the “B” finals for the 200 freestyle 1:54.75, 100 freestyle 53.68 (12^th), and the 400 I.M 4:42.06.  She also posted a personal best in the 200 backstroke 2:09.77 and the 100 Meter Free 1:01.02.

Sophie Halper placed in the “C” final of the 200 freestyle finishing 21^st with a life time best of 1:56.67.  She also posted two personal best times in the 200 Meter Free 2:16.32 and the 100 free 54.52.

Sophie Siegel posted lifetime best times in the 100 backstroke 1:00.80 and 200 backstroke 2:12.22. 

Sappha O’Meara posted season best times in the 100 breast 1:13.26 and the 200 breast 2:38.92.

Jessica Lipton posted a season best time in the 200 Fly 2:19.70.

Carly Fried placed in the “C” final of the 100 breaststroke 1:09.86, finishing 21^st overall.

The 400 Medley relay of Siegel, Fried, Halper, and Brickman placed 15^th with a sectional time of 4:06.55 

The 400 Medley relay team of Jessica Weiss, Sappa O’Meara, Jessica Lipton, Leta Giordano finished with a senior mets time of 4:23.02.

The 400 Freestyle relay of Halper, Siegel, Giordano, and Brickman placed 17^{th  with  a sectional time of 4:43.00}.  with a  www   wb
