Brickman & Halper finished the LC season with a bang at the 2012 Super Sectional
Finishing off the Long Course season in incredible fashion; 2 members of the Senior team traveled to buffalo to compete in the 2012 USA Swimming Speedo Champions Series – Super Sectional. Molly and Sophie both had a fantastic weekend with many lifetime best times achieved, including 5 new team records and Metro Top 10 performances.
Molly Brickman splashed in with two finals performances in the 200 Meter Free with a lifetime best of 2:08.99; and the 400 Meter Free with another lifetime best and over 2 seconds drop with a time of 4:31.56. Molly’s times are good enough to place her in the Metro Top 10 list for the 15-18 Girls age group for the 2012 Long Course Season.
Sophie Halper also splashed in with some great performances! She swam to a lifetime best in the 1500 Meter Free dropping over 15 seconds with a time of 18:13.71; the 50 Meter Free with another lifetime best of 28.50, and the 800 Meter Free with another 8 seconds drop with a time of 9:29.69. Sophie finished the 2012 Long Course Season with the 2nd fastest 1500 Meter Freestyle time in the 13-14 girls age group.
