Solid Show at the Outdoor WYW Meet

Outstanding Meet, Flying Dolphins!

We had three long, hot days at the outdoor Wilton Meet last weekend. Each day, we had the opportunity to see some awesome swimmers! The coaching staff is very proud of the kids and their efforts. Our athletes had some impressive swims and achieved far too many best times to mention (4 pages worth!).  Great job. 

Throughout the weekend, many different coaches, officials, and parents from other teams complimented our swimmers' performances, while our own team's camaraderie was high, with parents supporting, cheering, and challenging our team to be its best. I was very proud of our sportsmanship and morale as a whole. 

It is incredibly telling of our team's program to witness our swimmers challenge themselves despite feeling tired, worn, or sore. The Flying Dolphins are a disciplined group and I am so proud of them.  We are building character and strength, and the kids are having fun doing it! Not to mention, the coaches are having fun, too!
