California Maccabi Games Highlights

The week at the youth's Maccabi Games in California was incredible.
 
 

It was a true honor to be a part of an experience where over 2,400 athletes in all sports, representing countries from all over the world, came together to compete and culturally bond.  
 
Our two YFD swimmers dominated the competition, taking home 19 medals! Sophie Halper placed first in 10 events, bringing home gold medals for each of her swims and achieving best times. Carly Feinblatt swam a couple of her best times and earned a total of 9 medals! Our girls also had the honor of being awarded their medals by the legendary Olympian, JASON LEZAK.

I am extremely proud of both of these girls. Their work ethic and sportsmanship were exemplary during the entire week of the games.

We are proud of you and your accomplishments and we are all truly excited to work hard this coming year.
