PleaseChange Admin

The resilience and perseverance of YFD in pushing through the challenges of the unpredictable last year and half shined through at the CRA Winter Championships. YFD took the meet held in Wellesley, MA by storm as 98% of swimmers posted lifetime bests in at least one swim, with many swimming to lifetime bests in more than one swim. With over 72% of swimmers making finals in at least one event, YFD swimmers were the face of finals across the three nights of competition.

An impressive 15 team records were broken, and many swimmers qualified for the extremely competitive NCSA Age Group and ISCA International Open Championships that will take place in March.

Beyond the pool, the team's energy and spirit was unmatched. During each session, and for every swim, YFD swimmers brought their YFD pride to the deck as they lined the pool to cheer for their teammates. The camaraderie among swimmers not just within each group, but across the age groups was on display as National, Senior 2, AG2 and AG3 swimmers could be found bonding and supporting each other throughout the weekend.

Thank you to all the YFD parents for timing, cheering, and supporting their swimmers. And a special thank you to AG3 parent Kimberly Spodek for organizing the delicious and fun team dinner that provided time to get together away from the pool.

Congratulations to all on an extremely successful weekend!

                                                   Happy Holidays!
