Metropolitan Silver Championships YFD Meet Recap

Our YFD Athletes kicked off the 2022 Championship Season over the weekend at the Metro Silver Championships with best times and soaring team spirit!

YFD brought SEVENTY-NINE – 79 – athletes from every training group, from age 8 to age 18, from first-time championship swimmers to graduating Seniors!

Perched in the balcony and jumping up-and-down on the deck, swimmers rallied each other to dozens of top three finishes, dozens of personal best times, and nail-biting finishes that had all of us at the edge of our seats – too many to count!

We are so proud of each and every one of your contributions to a phenomenal meet weekend!! Thank you to our amazing parents who made it all possible.

We added 10 new Junior Olympic Qualifiers to bring our total to 24! These qualifiers will represent YFD 11 – 13 March 2022 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. Here is our 2022 YFD JO Team:
