Officials Recertification

Michigan Swimming Officials,  

I hope this communication finds you well. As part of our commitment to maintain high standards and ensure the competence of our officials, we would like to remind you of the mandatory recertification requirement for all LSC officials.  

In accordance with our policies, officials are required to recertify at their highest level every 2 years (on the odd years) to remain in good standing with the LSC . This means that if you did not take your recertification test by the end of 2023 you have up until February 22, 2024. 5:00 PM to do so. T his process is essential for staying updated on the latest regulations, techniques and best practices in your role. Failure to do so will result in a lapse of your official standing with the LSC.
