For over 45 years, the European Forces Swim League (EFSL) has been fostering a love of swimming and healthy competition for the children of military and civilian families stationed across Europe. Born from a desire to provide a supportive and challenging competitive swimming program, the EFSL has grown to encompass 17 clubs in countries including Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands. One of these clubs, the Rota Swim Club (RSC), proudly represents Naval Station Rota, Spain within the EFSL. RSC is a self-sustaining, non-profit organization fueled by the dedication of its member families through dues, fundraising, and volunteer efforts. Supported by the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department, RSC swimmers benefit from access to excellent facilities as they train and compete. Each year, the league culminates in an exciting Championship Meet, where swimmers of all ages, from 7 to 18, have the opportunity to showcase their skills and dedication.
