So, you want to become an Official! Here's how!

Here is a link to what you need to do to become an Official at Swim meets. This website is a good place to begin. You do not need to purchase any supplies, as stated on the website though. 

The first thing to do is to fill out a non-athlete USA Swimming Registration form. 

Next, you will need to do the background check. Once you have paid for it, send the email receipt to [email protected] to be reimbursed.

Take the online Athlete Protection Course and send a copy of completion to [email protected].

Take the Concussion Protocol Training Course. Do one or the other...

You do not need to do both!

You will also need to do 4 walks with Officials at meets.
