  What is your favorite thing about being a swim instructor?

  Watching a child grow and learn to  know what he/she can do in the water. 

  Hobbies: Sign Language, Cooking, Canning produce and jams

  Education:  Formerly Occupational Therapist Vocational Councelor Mental Health

  A little about Butch: Butch has been lifeguarding and swimming since he was 16 years old.  His first guarding position was with a Greek Athletic Club and then he held various positions guarding in and around his area working with Yeshevia Kids one summer. Next he  began working at the YMCA and began professional Teaching as a certified Swimming teacher and Lifeguard Instructor.  Butch currently works with special needs children and runs an autism Class for young children, this was and still is a challenge learning to teach a child how to swim.  Butch is very interested in ending his career by writing a Swimming Manuel and have had several publishers interested in the finished product. Working with the kids keeps him young and tired and satisfied!
