Is PreAqua for you?  Can your child swim?   If yes continue below, if no contact PTARC for swimming lessons.

Follow these steps:

1.  Register for our one-week PreAqua program offered only two times a year, September for the School-Year Session and May for Summer Session.

• The cost of the PreAqua program is $60.00 for four 1 hour sessions.  
• PreAqua participants must attend ALL FOUR scheduled PreAqua days.
• During each mandatory session, our coaches will instruct and evaluate your swimmer.
• At minimum, participants MUST be able to swim two lengths of the pool using two different strokes and be able to follow directions from the coaching staff.

2.  After PreAqua evaluations are complete, your swimmer may be invited to join the team.  If our coaching staff determines that it is unsafe or your swimmer is not ready, she/he can try again at the next PreAqua Session.

3.  Once your swimmer has qualified and is invited to join our competitive swimming team, she/he will register as a BRONZE SWIMMER.

• For School-Year Session (September through March), your cost will be $400 with a $120 volunteer fee, but you will receive a $60 credit from PreAqua to use towards your total cost.
• For Summer-Session (May through July), your cost will be $200 with a $60 volunteer fee, but you will receive a $60 credit from Pre-Aqua to use towards your total cost.

4. Volunteer credits can be earned back by fulfilling volunteer requirements for each session:  School-Year Session-4 requirements and Summer-2 requirements.

5.  SWIMMERS should arrive in a snug one piece bathing suit with goggles for preaqua. Parents may stay and watch UPSTAIRS in the swim stands.
