MAJOR DONATION! Weight Room

OUR WEIGHT ROOM IS STOCKED FULL!!!!

1) Recently, Jets Aquatic Club received an entire circuit training system from Guy Pardew and Olympus Construction.  These machines are commercial grade, hydraulic based equipment.  He also donated nearly 500 pounds in free-weight plates and two Olympic bars.  Mr. Pardew is a a former Jet himself as his entire family.  His Mom, Uncle, sisters, niece and nephews have all come through the Jets program. His sister, Ashley Ditta, served as Jets BOD president until 2019.  She still represents us at the state level serving as Treasurer for Arkansas Swimming, Inc. Mr. Pardew, his company and his family are invested in the success of Jets and from this donation, Jets for many years to come will benefit from their generosity. We are grateful for his amazing contributions to our program.

2) Thanks also go to Scott Saunders who recently found a liquidation auction for a health club that shut down in Searcy. Jets were able to purchase two Cybex leg machines.  Mr. Saunders also had a new treadmill donated to us. Mr. Saunders also serves as a USA-S Official and he also serves as Arkansas Swimming Safe Sport Chair.  He and his wife, Sarah, are also our Jets Safe Sport Coordinators.  They have two kids on Jets. Earlier this month, Mr. Saunders, Coach Ax and I went to Searcy to retrieve this equipment.
