Coaches and Directors
Brandon Charitat joins the JETS Aquatics Club as a native of
Lacombe, Louisiana. Coach Brandon has been committed to excellence
in athletics his entire life. He was a successful national level
swimmer in Louisiana while also achieving an Academic All-State
ranking in 5A Louisiana High School Football, serving as co-captain
of the St. Paul’s High School Track and Field program, and
also lettering in high school power lifting.
Brandon notes that coaching runs in his family, and he has
continued his successful athletic career in the coaching arena.
Since becoming a USA-S certified coach in 2019, Coach Brandon has
coached multiple Zone, Sectional, Futures, and Junior National
championship qualifiers. He has helped numerous athletes to pursue
college swimming careers from NAIA to D-1 programs.
Coach Brandon is a published researcher and graduate of
Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree
in ACS Chemistry. When he’s away from the pool, Brandon is an
avid outdoorsman.
Brandon’s love for swimming is evident every time he steps on
the deck by the way he interacts with his swimmers. Through
positive coaching and teaching life lessons through the sport,
Brandon aims to pass the torch to the next generation.
Coach Jessica grew up swimming with JETS and am so happy to be back as a JETS Swim Coach!!! She works full-time as a Skills Trainer for special needs adults at St. Bernards Project SEARCH. She assists individuals with job skills and obtaining employment in the community. By night, she coaches with Jets and also serves as Past President and current board member of the Young Professional for the American Cancer Society and she is also a ProjectCARE Mayoral Coalition board member. Coach Jessica is an avid gym goer and former record holder in Powerlifting.
Dr. Riddle started swimming
competitively at the age of 7 for the American Community School of
Abu Dhabi. After moving back to Oklahoma in the 7th grade he joined
the Phillips 66 splash club trained by internationally renowned
Coach Milt Nelms, and later former Jets Coach Bob Stabb. He is a
graduate of Ouachita Baptist University where he was a three time
NCAA DII All-American, four time academic All-American, and
obtained a BS in biology. He graduated medical school from The
University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts.
James completed his residency in internal medicine at St.
Bernards Medical Center. He has always had a passion for teaching
which led him to accept a faculty position with the residency
program. He brings that same passion for teaching to the pool deck
and is excited to be a part of the Jets family.
