Jets Excel during Championship Season!

Congratulations to all of our Jets Swimmers on our successful Championship Season!

We had multiple Jets swimmers representing their high schools at both the 4A and 5A High School state Champs. At 5A state champs, a relay team consisting of Madison Fischer, Katie Rowe, Daya Tucker, and Taylor Johnson won two state titles for Valley View High School. Katie Rowe took home two inidivual state titles, Daya Tucker had two top three finishes, and both Taylor and Madison had two top five fishes. At 4A state champs, Elizabeth took home a first and a second place finish for Armorel, while Londyn Moore posted two top-five finishes for Brookland.

At our 14 and Under ARSI State Champs in Benton, we brought more than double the amount of swimmers than last year! There were 16 Jets aged 14 and younger that participated at the meet. Our Girls team brought home a third place finish, while our Boys team scored its first points at the meet in several years. Congratulations to Caroline Rowe and Londyn Moore for winning individual titles at the meet! Caroline Rowe also won high point for the 11-12 Girls Age Group. Our 10 and Under girls consisting of Shelby Gibson, Gabby Ni, Caroline Ni, and Mollie Fischer, and our 13-14 Girls with Taylor Johnson, Adison McGaha, Katie Rowe, and Londyn Moore both brought home State Titles in Relays. Congratulations to Shelby Gibson, Gabby Ni, Caroline Ni, Mollie Fischer, Cali Byrd, Alana Tucker, Lily Gilbow, Caroline Rowe, Jakin Riddle, Isaiah Morgan, Gaurav Pattada, Brody Iodanza, Taylor Johnson, Katie Rowe, Adison McGaha, and Londyn Moore for all qualifying and participating in our State Championship Meet. 

We had three swimmers compete at Speedo sectionals in Columbia Missouri, against swimmers form all across the central and midwest regons of the US. Aiden Moore placed in the top 32 and made finals in two events, Elizabeth Rose swam 5 great races, and Katie Rowe placed 13th overall in the 200 Butterfly. This was te highest placement for a 14 year old in that event. Great job to all three of you! This is the most swimmers we have brought to this meet as Jets in over a decade. 

Our Final Championship meet of the season came over the past weekend in Fayetteville. We had 13 Senior state qualifiers with 9 swimmers in attendance. It was the most points that our team has scored at this meet since senior state champs was implemented in Arkansas swimming. Congratulations to Katie Rowe and Adison McGaha for making it on the podium in an event! Caroline Rowe and Adison McGaha both qualified to represent team arkansas at the Central Zones championship this summer! All of our swimmers at this meet contributed points on either relays or in their individual swims. Congratulations to Kyra Taylor, Taylor Johnson, Tyson Orbison, Ava Little, Madison Fischer, Lily Gilbow, Aiden Moore, Londyn Moore, Caroline Rowe, Katie Rowe, Adison McGaha, Elizabeth Rose, and Daya Tucker for all Qualifying for Senior State!
