Jets Compete against over 1500 of the Nation's Best

Five Swimmers from our Jets Swim Team competed at the ISCA East Elite Showcase in St Petersburg Florida. This competition consisted of 1500 the best swimmers from 100 different clubs all over the Eastern United States. There were teams in attendance from Texas, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Minnesota, Washington DC, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Rhode Island, New York, Colorado, Michigan, Connecticut, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Dakota, Oregon, New Jersey, South Carolina, Wisconsin and many others. The five female swimmers competing for the Jets were Lily Gilbow, Adison McGaha, Caroline Ni, Caroline Rowe, and Katie Rowe. They finished in 36th out of the teams competing on the women's side of the meet. 

There were multiple top 20 and top 10 finishes from Jets swimmers in the meet.

Caroline Ni finished 12th in the 100 IM, 9th in the 50 Fly, 14th in the 50 Breast, 15th in the 100 Free, and 20th in the 50 Free among all 9 year olds.

Adison McGaha finished 12th in the 50 Back, 17th in the 200 Fly, 16th in the 200 Back, and 15th in the 100 Back among all 13 year olds. 

Caroline Rowe finished 11th in the 500 Free, and 8th in the 1650 Free among all 13 year olds. 

Katie Rowe finished 4th in the 50 Back, 14th in the 200 IM, 4th in the 200 Fly, 9th in the 200 Back, 7th in the 100 Fly, 8th in the 400 IM, 7th in the 50 Fly, and 6th in the 100 Back among all 14 year olds. 

Lily Gilbow finished the meet with 5 new best times and 2 new state qualifying times at the meet.
