Jets have a great meet in Long Course opener

Our Jets swimmers that competed in Tupelo, Mississippi on April 15th-16th have a lot to cheer about heading into the long course season. All fourteen of our Jets swimmers produced at least one best time with ten of the fourteen swimming 100 percent best times. 

Eight of our Jets swimmers achieved Long course state times, with two being new state qualifiers, and four more jets swimmers added 'B' times to their swimming resume. Katie Rowe, Caroline Rowe, Adison McGaha, Gabby Ni, Caroline Ni,  and Shelby Gibson swam Long course state cuts along with our new qualifiers Tyson Orbison and Alana Rodriguez. Hailey Forrester, Cali Byrd, Natalie Carusso, and Jackson Reed swam 'B' times at the meet. 

We had many first time long course swimmers at the meet as well. Congratulations to Guarav Pattada, Dexter Mellow, and Natalie Carusso on completed your first Long Course Meet!

The meet concluded with 65 best times, over 11 minutes of time dropped, and tons of smiling faces. It was a proud weekend to be a Jet!
