Mayor Copenhaver proclaims April 18th, 2023 Jonesboro Jets Day to cap off great Short Course Season

On April 18th, 2023 the mayor of Jonesboro official declared the day Jonesboro Jets day in honor of the Jets accomplishments to cap off their Short Course season. This has been a very successful year for Jets swimmers and the Jets team as a whole.

These accomplishments include:

• 885 Best times from Jets swimmers 
• 23 State Qualifiers - the most in over a decade
• 6 Sectional Qualifiers- the most in over a decade
• 30 AAU Junior Olympic Champs Qualifiers 
• 3rd Place finish in the Girls 14 and Under State Champs 
• Most points scored by Jets at Arkansas Senior State Champs 
• Most Podiums by the Jets at the ISCA East Elite Showcase
• 2 New Zone Qualifiers 
• 1 Broken State Record that was almost 30 years old 
• Tons of happy swimmers, that are living a healthy lifestyle and growing as people every day

This short course season has been one to be proud of!
