Jack Luken wins High School State Championship in the 500 free as Gold Medal Swim Club Swimmers Shine

Gold Medal Swim Club Swimmers had an outstanding weekend at the various high state championships. Jack Luken won the 500 free in 4.34.0 and achieved third place in the 200 free with 1.42.10. Other top eight finishers included Max Nielsen in the 6th in the 50 free and 2nd in the100 free, Ryne Davenport 7th in the 100 free and 4th in the 100 back, Colin Campbell 5th in the 200 IM and 6th in the 100 breast, Colorado Stanley 4th in the 100 back, and Seongju Song 7th in the 500 free.

New time high level standards were achieved by the following swimmers:

Jack Luken-Futures in the 500 free

Ryne Davenport-Sectionals in the 100 free and 100 back

Clare Luken-Sectionals in the 200 free

Reed Lucero-Sectionals in the 100 breast
