Gold Medal Swim Club Recognizes Top Performers From The Fall
Fall Gold Medal Swim Club Swimmer Recognition
The coaching staff wanted to recognize outstanding achievements for the period of August to December. Those swimmers who are recognized below in either category can see Coach Mike for an award for their hard work and outstanding performances. There were many outstanding performances this Fall from multiple swimmers in all the groups, making the selection of the top athletes very difficult. Outstanding Swimmers
Peter Hendricks made 100% of our dryland and swim practices since October 24. Whether at dryland or swim, he always gives a strong effort and has improved greatly. Peter has established life best times in 12 different events in recent meets. After swimming in the Holiday Fest, he requested to also swim some more events a week later in the MAC age group meet. He chose to swim the 200 Back, 200 Fly, and 400 IM. Peter made his first State Qualifying time in the 400 IM.
Sasha Volkova missed only one practice in the past 2 months. She is consistently one of the fastest workout swimmers in the group despite having just moved up to the group this past season. Coach Kyle also confirmed that she is consistently one of our top performers in dryland as well. She is now qualified for state in 7 events in her first season as an 11 year old.
Congratulations to both of these swimmers for their tremendous effort and performances during the fall season!
