Gold Medal Places Fourth at Senior State Championships

Gold Medal achieved its highest finish ever at a State Senior Championship, with a fourth place finish. In some of the worst weather conditions the team has experienced at a summer meet, there were best times and great performances. Top performers coming off the Sectional meet were Abby Raclaw, Bobby Sander, and Markus Quillinan, who improved best times done a week earlier. Colorado Stanley performed three best times. Leah Green was our highest individual finish with a second place in the 1500 free. The women’s team of Reagan Uhlik, Kinsey Miller, Jaida Lippy, and Abby Raclaw, finishing third in the 800 free relay for our best relay finish. Overall, a good team effort in a very challenging situation.
