Age Group Two
What a great season for AG2@CHS! I know the change was difficult for both parents and swimmers so I appreciate your trust and support. I really enjoyed coming to each practice and working with all of the swimmers and seeing improvement every day and then seeing all of that progress at the championship meets these past couple of weeks. The dedication from each and every one of you is great to see for everyone aspiring to make achievements in something they are passionate about.
We had 7 out of 11 swimmers that had 100% best times at Regional Championship and achieved 100% best times at State Championships.
Evan Cho 7 best times.
Stella Daniels 8 best times.
Joselyn Franzone 3 best times
Claire Horton 6 best times.
Ember Marinello 5 best times.
Hadley Nixon 8 best times.
Turner Pearson 3 best times.
Holly Swaninger 3 best times.
Declan Tierney 9 best times.
Teagan Tolson 8 best times.
Joelle Vandenbark 5 best times.
One very impressive performance was put in by Stella Daniels. Not only did she qualify for her first state meet, she dropped 13 seconds on 100BK to qualify. At the state meet she dropped another 1.73 seconds to placed 8th in 50 Backstroke.
Another impressive performance was from Turner Pearson who scored 65 points and had 5 best times, placing 3rd in 100 BR, 4th in 50BR and 6th in 50FLY.
