Gold Medal Swim Club Announces March Swimmers of the Month

Michael Chasson

Jack Luken had an outstanding month of March. He had his usual excellent attendance and effort in practice, that is sometimes taken for granted. His performances at Sectionals in Austin were outstanding. He swam five individual best times, swam best time relay splits, and won the 1000 and 1650 freestyles. His 1000 time was 17th in the country for a high school senior. He was the high point scorer for Gold Medal at the Sectionals.

He was an important part of five first place relays. He then swam at his first Sectionals and improved his best times in the 200 fly and 200 IM. Cohen has perfect attendance and has great focus in his practices.
