Gold Medal swimmers making a splash at the Copper Classic at Moon Valley!

Age Group 2

AG2 swimmers made a splash in pool racing for the first time this season. This group of 12 swimmers raced SCY over the weekend. As a group we had 14 new Regional qualifying times and 100% improvement for each swimmer in at least one event. We also had several first-time longer distance swims for the newly aged up 11-12 swimmers. This meet provided an opportunity to lay a foundation for continued success this LCM season. Congratulations to all our swimmers!

 

Dante Apps achieved three new best times and two new Regional times in the 100 breaststroke and 50 fly.

 

Thais Apps achieved four new best times and two new Regional times in the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM. Thais also dropped 10 seconds in her 200 IM and raced the 200 back for the first time.

 

Xavier Apps achieved five new best times and four new Regional times in the 50/200 free, 50 breaststroke, and 50 fly.

 

Adam Botsios achieved five new best times and two new Regional times in the 50 breaststroke and 50 free. Adam dropped 10 seconds in his 200 breaststroke and 16 seconds in his 200 IM and raced the 200 back for the first time.

 

Angelina Gomez achieved three best times and is inching closer to those 9-10 Regional times.

 

Davis Kaplan achieved four best times. Davis dropped 10 seconds in his 200IM and conquered the 200 back and 200 breaststroke for the first time.

 

John Kim attended his first ever club meet, welcome John! John achieved three new Regional times in the 100 free, 50 back and 100 breaststroke.

 

Rya Long achieved five new best times. Rya also raced the 200 back for the first time and dropped 10 seconds in her 200 IM.

 

Stella Olson achieved two new best times and qualified for the bonus 50 free shootout.

 

Luke Skousen attended his first ever club meet, welcome Luke! He earned three new best times.

 

Ella Wilson achieved five new best times and one new Regional time in the 50 fly.

 

Sydney Withem achieved five new best times. Sydney raced the 200 back and 200 breaststroke for the time and qualified for the bonus 50 free shootout.
