Duel in the Pool: FAST vs GOLD!

JoAnna Woodward

What a super fun meet! Gold Medal walked away with the win over FAST by over 1200 points as well as with many new best times and new time cuts for our upcoming championship meets...here are our meet reviews!

Age Group 2

What an exciting meet it was this weekend! AG2 had 123 swims and achieved 108 best times. All of the swimmers achieved at least one lifetime best time and several swimmers qualified new events for Regionals and State Championships. These are amazing results that show the hard work and dedication from the swimmers and their families. As a coach, I am happy to see our swimmers improving and having fun at the same time. We have one more meet left to achieve your goals. Swimmers should make the best of everyday at practice to prepare for the challenge. Your focus and effort doing drills and working out during each practice is so very important. Let’s Go AG2!!
I would also like to thank the parents for driving down to Tucson and supporting the swimmers. It was nice to have everyone there and together for the meet.

S1 competed well at the FAST Dual Meet & Invite. At this meet, we primarily look for swimmers to be beating their best in-season time, as we did not rest for these swims. S1 athletes also refined their race strategies for the upcoming championship meets. Swimmers who raced to best times did outstanding and should be proud of their achievement.
