Gold Medal Places Second at Age Group State Championships

Gold Medal placed second at the Age Group State Championships on July 14-17. This was an impressive performance since ten of our best 13-14 year old swimmers, were at other meets. Top swimmers included Langston Lindsey, who was the high point winner in 11-12 boys and Alexa Largent, who was second place by a point in the 11-12 girls high point competiton. Other notable performers were Brynn Barr who won all the breaststroke events in 11-12 girls and Megan Moon, who won the 200 free, in the 13-14 girls, and Cullen Kelly, who won the 10 and under 50 backstroke, and Joe Luken who won the 13-14 boys 100 and 200 backstrokes and Marley Spray winning the 11-12 girls 200 backstroke and 200 IM.
