Sophia Jahn-Sophia has shown an improved work ethic and attitude. She swam an excellent 200 fly with a big improvement at Narwhal and had some good races at the dual meet in Tucson.

Tommy Heinstein is S2’s Swimmer of the Month! Tommy has consistently made every practice, has diligently worked hard at every practice, and has shown great determination at practice and meets. His hard work has paid off; Tommy earned his Summer Sectional cut in the 100 back at the Narwhal meet and punched his ticket to go to Sectionals…congrats Tommy on all of your hard work!
Senior 3
Congratulations to the June swimmer of the month Jacob Basha. Jacob continues to improve in practice and in meets. Jacob dropped time in almost all of his events at the Copper Classic and Narwhal invite. He is also a good teammate. Keep up the good work Jacob!
Blue
Zach Basha is an absolute delight in practice; his big personality brings lots of joy and humor to practice and to his teammates on a daily basis. Zach had a great month of training in Blue group, and at the Narwhal meet, he earned his first 13-14 state cut in the 100 breast…way to go Zach and way to go on being Swimmer of the Month!
Age Group 1
The AG1 Swimmer of the Month for June is Tim Skarbek! Tim had a great couple of meets in June, with multiple new State times achieved, finals qualified for, and plenty of new best times. Tim also had near-perfect practice attendance throughout the whole month and has done an exceptional job stepping up during dryland as well. Congrats Tim!
Age Group 2
Declan Tierney is the AG2 June Swimmer of the Month. Coaches have noticed and appreciate an increased level of focus and effort during each practice. Declan’s positive attitude allows him to learn and apply new concepts to his swimming during practice. Declan easily accepts and applies coaching corrections to his swimming. Declan’s awesome attitude with teammates and during practice combined with consistent attendance is a powerful combination which should lead to future achievements. Keep chasing those new 11-12 cuts, we believe in you! Congratulations Declan!
