Gold Medal Swimmers Rock Age Group State!

JoAnna Woodward

Phenomenal swimming by Gold Medal swimmers to earn a 2nd place overall standing for the meet, way to go swimmers! Here is the meet wrap-up:

Age Group 2

Will be posted asap.

Age Group 1

Age Group 1 had an impressive showing at the Age Group State meet, despite the warm weather and tough conditions. I was very impressed to see that 90% of the finals swims were faster than the prelims swims, and many swimmers had big time drops in their very best events. Age Group 1 relay teams and participants also helped contribute a very large amount to the overall team score, which landed us a 2nd place combined team finish amongst other larger clubs in the State. Congratulations to everyone who swam any events at the meet this weekend, and thank you for a great LCM season!

Blue swimmers did incredible at AG State! 13/14 Blue swimmers had a least one best time and the group had multiple State Champions, first-time finalists, and new State and Sectional cuts. Langston Lindsey was the top scorer for 11-12 Boys and Alexa Largent was the third top scorer for 11-12 Girls.
