November Swimmers of the Month

Michael Chasson

Age Group 2

The AG2 swimmer of the month for November is Thais Apps!! Thais had a great work ethic and an always-positive attitude. Thais is a great in-practice leader for the group and is always supportive and inclusive of her teammates. Thais proves achievement is possible with a great attitude and consistent attendance. Congratulations Thais!!

Age Group 1

The Age Group 1 Swimmer of the Month for November is Mackenzie Feirstein! Mackenzie had a great November meet up at Moon Valley, achieving a new State time and dropping time in multiple other events. More importantly, Mackenzie has been working very hard at practice throughout the month, often leading lanes and pushing herself and her teammates to be better and race in practice, on top of great attendance and attitude during tough sets. Keep up the great work!

Blue

Congratulations to Emma Antawirya for being Blue’s November Swimmer of the Month! Emma has only been part of the Blue group for a short time, but she has proven to settle right in and has performed super well; at the Neptune meet at the beginning of the month, she had all best times and was the Shoot-Out winner for 11yo girls! Emma also consistently demonstrates a hard work ethic and rarely misses a practice, which contributes to her performing well and will help her achieve her future goals. Congrats again Emma!

Senior 2

Congratulations to our S2 Swimmer of the Month for November Ryan Munoz. Ryan has been extremely committed to his goals – working hard in practice, making stroke changes, and motivating his teammates. At the recent Oregon meet, Ryan had 100% best times and massive drops in his 200 free (1:49.58 – a 4 second drop) and 200 fly (2:04.23 – a 5 second drop). Congratulations Ryan and keep up the great work!

Senior 1

Lorin Tobler- Lorin has great attendance, a great attitude, and a good work ethic. She completed her high school season with a best time and a first place. She won the 100 back in 56.65 and improved her 100 fly to 55.34, which was almost a second improvement for second place. She also had a great 50 fly split on the 200 medley relay of 25.0. I consider these big breakthrough swims for Lorin.

Reed Lucero-Reed also has excellent attendance, a great attitude, and a good work ethic. He achieved two best times at the State High School Meet. He swam a 55.11 in the 100 breast for an automatic All-American time, which is an impressive achievement. This was a one second improvement in this event. He also improved his 200 IM close to a second with a 1:52.64. His 50 breast on his 200 medley relay was also a best time at 24.8.
