Blue July Meet Wrap-up and Swimmers of the Month For June and July

July Swimmers of the Month

Alaina Herrig, Cullen Kelly, and Elliot Niemoth are the Blue July Swimmers of the Month! It was very difficult to pick between so many great swimmers this month. These 3 swimmers worked incredibly hard during the long course season and it showed at AG State. Alaina spent numerous hours working on her underwaters and freestyle technique this season, and with the confidence she had swimming at AG State, she earned 2- 1st place finishes and 3rd place 11-12 High Point Award. Cullen has matured as a swimmer and is becoming a leader within the Blue group. With his goals and race mentality in practice, Cullen earned a 1st place finish in the 100 fly and 5 other individual medals at AG State. Lastly, Elliot Niemoth had an incredible performance at AG State. Elliot had great prelim swims, earning him spots in the Championship Finals where he achieved 3 Top 5 Finishes.

Congrats Alaina, Cullen, and Elliot on a great season and AG State Meet!

June Swimmer of the Month

Turner Pearson is the Blue Swimmer of the Month! Turner practices with determination and is always looking to improve no matter what we are working on. With his goal mindset, Turner achieved his first AG State cuts in his 100 and 200 breast while dropping over 40 seconds in his 400 IM. Congrats and keep up the hard work Turner!
