Senior Three Late Spring News and Swimmers of the Month
Senior Three Swimmers and Parents:
Somehow the Spring report from Jenn never got posted when it should have been sent out. I apologize for this delay.
Spring Wrap-up
We are thrilled to welcome new and returning Senior Three swimmers to the team this spring and summer. Many of whom have never participated in a club swim meet before. Their enthusiasm and dedication have been truly inspiring. We have spent the spring (March, April, and May) learning to race at the club level.
We are incredibly proud of the effort and determination shown by each swimmer. Their work ethic during practice is commendable and will undoubtedly lead to significant time drops at future meets and this fall for high school swimming.
We've been focusing on long-course training and racing. The transition has been smooth, and our swimmers have risen to the challenge. Everyone performed exceptionally well at our spring meets, showcasing their hard work and perseverance.

We have some catching up to do to recognize our exceptional Senior Three Swimmers of the Month. Let's celebrate their dedication, hard work, and impressive achievements.
March Swimmer of the Month: Ronav Udar
We are thrilled to recognize Ronav Udar as our Swimmer of the Month for March. Ronav joined Age Group 2 from Gold Medal Swim School’s High School Prep program last fall and moved to the Senior Three training group in February. Since joining Senior Three, he has continually developed his racing skills. His dedication at practice, combined with his racing prowess, enabled him to achieve five out of five best times at our Regional Championship meet, edging closer to those 13-14 state qualifying times. Notably, Ronav had a nearly 9-second time drop in his 200 Breast and swam finals in both the 100 Breast and 200 Breast at Regionals. Congratulations, Ronav! We are super proud of you!
April Swimmer of the Month: James Thomas
We are pleased to recognize James Thomas as our April Swimmer of the Month. James joined Senior Three in November 2023 at the end of his high school swim season. He has shown a great attitude, near-perfect attendance, and a willingness to train and develop all four strokes since joining Senior Three. James consistently comes to practice with an open mind and is receptive to making technical changes to his strokes. His hard work at practice paid off at his very first long-course meet, where he achieved 13-14 state qualifying times in the 50 and 100 Free. Congratulations, James! We are excited to watch your future as a swimmer!
May Swimmer of the Month: Roman Curon
We are excited to recognize Roman Curon as our May Swimmer of the Month. Roman joined Senior Three in February from Gold Medal Swim School’s High School Prep training group. Since his arrival, he has had near-perfect attendance each week and has attended optional Saturday workouts with Senior Two. At his first club meet, the April LC Opener, he swam six events and achieved six regional qualifying times. At the May Cray meet, Roman chose to swim five new events (including the 200 Fly) and achieved five new regional qualifying times. In just two swim meets this season, he has raced 11 of 14 possible events for the 13-14 age group. Roman’s internal desire to challenge himself and become the best swimmer he can be is evident. This work ethic will serve him well both inside and outside the pool. Congratulations, Roman! We are proud of you!
