Senior 3 Summer Wrap-Up

As the summer season comes to an end, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had together. This summer, we had an active group of over twenty swimmers training with the Senior 3 group. The commitment and determination you all demonstrated was nothing short of inspiring. We are a stronger team because you committed to our summer training plan and worked together to make it happen.

For many of you, this was your first experience with long course swimming. You rose to the challenge, made necessary adjustments, and performed exceptionally well at the long course swim meets. Your hard work and dedication culminated in an outstanding showing at the Long Course Regional Championship meet. Special congratulations go to Ezzy Lanigan for winning the Women’s 100 Breaststroke event and to Christopher LaPrath for placing second in the Men’s 100 Breaststroke event.

I also want to acknowledge the following swimmers who achieved personal bests in their long course times this season, participating in one or more swim meets:

  • Jayden Bui: 50 Free
  • Ryu Cheng: 100 Fly
  • Roman Cuaron: 50, 100, 200, 400 Free, 100 and 200 Back, 100 and 200 Breast, 100 and 200 Fly, and 200 IM
