Senior Three September Wrap-up Corrected
Swimmer of the Month – Ezzie Lanigan
Swimmer of the Month – Ezzie Lanigan
Congratulations to Ezzie Lanigan, our Swimmer of the Month! Ezzie has earned this distinction through her dedication and consistent practice attendance. Her hard work in the pool is clearly paying off with outstanding results at recent swim meets.
Ezzie is not only focused on her own success but also goes above and beyond to be welcoming and encouraging to her teammates. Despite her busy schedule, she has done an excellent job balancing club practices and swimming doubles twice a week with her high school team. In addition to her swimming achievements, Ezzie also participates in girls' flag football and is an accomplished athlete beyond the pool.
Most recently, Ezzie achieved three personal bests at the September swim meet, a testament to her dedication and progress.
We’re excited to see what Ezzie will accomplish by the end of the season. Keep up the amazing work, Ezzie!
Senior 3 Updates – Swimtember Invite Recap
Our Senior 3 group had a small but mighty presence at the Swimtember Invite, with two dedicated athletes representing Senior 3.
Ezzie Lanigan made her short course debut and delivered an impressive performance with three personal bests! She broke the 1:00 barrier in the 100 Free, clocking an exciting 58.98, and also achieved her first-ever sub-27 second swim in the 50 Free with a time of 26.98.
Christopher LaPrath achieved a new personal best in the 200 Free, finishing with a strong 1:55.71—nearly a two-second improvement this season.
The hard work put in over the summer long course season is paying off, and early racing results show great promise.
