Age Group Two September Wrap-up

Congratulations to all of our swimmers for a fantastic first meet of the season at the Swimtember Invite!  Our swimmers showed experience beyond their years focusing on the process of swimming fast.  They warmed up on time and had proper focus.  All of our swimmers spoke to me about their races and then were ready for their next race.  Our swimmers were at the blocks on time!  (thank you parents!) I saw things that we worked on in practice, especially IM transitions, body position, strong starts, and racing!  Special congratulations to our swimmers who swam in their first ever club swim meet:  June, Harlow, Jmo, Meredith, Elias, Tara, and Eric!  So proud of you!

Congratulations to our September swimmers of the month Bennett Basha and Tegan Arredondo!  Both swimmers are working hard in practice and really thinking about their swimming and racing.  They always have a positive attitude and care about their teammates. At the Swimtember Invite Tegan dropped 8 seconds in the 100 free, 7 seconds in the 50 breast, and 5 seconds in the 100 IM.  Bennett dropped 7.5 seconds in the 50 breast, 11 seconds in the 100 back, and 3 seconds in the 50 back barely missing State cuts in both events!  Congratulations once again to Tegan and Bennett!Here are a couple highlighted drops for individual swimmers!
