December Swimmers of the Month

Congratulations to our December swimmers of the month Meredith Ranes and Bennett Kelly!   Both swimmers work hard everyday in practice and are also great leaders in their lanes, explaining sets and encouraging others.  Meredith showed a lot of courage taking on the 100 fly in the Candy Cane Classic while Bennett had all best times, 2 1st place finishes and 4 top 3 finishes at Candy Cane!  Congratulations and keep up the good work!!!   

Arizona All Stars Versus San Diego All Stars

Way to go to our Arizona Swimming All-Stars Danny Arredondo, Edward Cai, Juliet Keck, Addison VonSchoff!  The Arizona team dominated the San Diego team winning by over 400 pts!   Our AG2 10u group made a huge impact!  We are so proud of them!  Here are the highlights!  

Addison - 5 3rd place finishes; 10 top 8!  21 pts scored.  7 sec drop 500 free; .5 drop 50 back 

Juliet - 2 1st place finishes; 4 3rd place finishes!  30 pts scored.  5 sec drop 100 fly; 1.3 sec drop 50 fly

Danny - 5 1st place finishes! 50 pts scored.  2.50 sec drop 100 back; 55 sec drop 200 IM

Edward - 5 1st place finishes!  44 pts scored. 1.5 sec drop 100 breast; 1 sec drop 100 IM

Candy Cane Meet

Congratulations to all of those who participated in the Candy Cane Classic!  For many of our swimmers this was their first prelim final meet and all of our swimmers continued to shine and grow!  This meet was a great first step as we head into Championship Meet season.  After seeing our kids at this meet they will be ready!
