Senior Two December Meet Wrap-up and Swimmer of the Month

Congratulations to Bruss Bowman, our Senior 2 Swimmer of the Month for December! Bruss had a great showing at the Tualatin Hills Holiday Classic, achieving five personal bests and coming close to a Sectionals cut in the 200 free. His focus on tempo, dryland training, and overall work ethic has led to improvements in all his events. We're excited to see what he accomplishes this short course season. Congrats, Bruss!

Senior 2's hard work and dedication during December showed at our meets: the Tualatin Hills Holiday Classic, Candy Cane Classic, and AZ All Stars vs. San Diego All Stars. The group's focused practices and commitment to their goals in December resulted in significant achievements, including one new Sectionals cut, four new Senior State cuts, two new AG State cuts, and an outstanding 65 best times. Seeing a positive shift in attitude and culture within the group led to many great swims highlighted below. 

Congrats to our AZ All Star swimmers Diego and Leo representing our team and lsc. Arizona won the meet by over 300 points. Leo scored 32 points for the team with his 2nd place finish in the 200 IM, and 3rd place finishes in the 50 and 100 free. Way to represent Gold and Arizona swimming!
