Blue Group December Meet Wrap-up and Swimmer of the Month

Congratulations to Leila Ross, our Blue December Swimmer of the Month! Leila's hard work over the past two months, combined with her willingness to learn and change, has resulted in significant improvement. The technical adjustments she has worked on in practice showed at the Candy Cane Classic in her 100 free, 100 breast, and 200 breast. Keep up the great work, Leila!

Blue had outstanding swims at our first trial/final meets of the short course season. At Tualatin Hills Holiday Classic we had 20 individual finals swims from 8 swimmers. At Candy Cane Classic we had 38 finals swims from 13 swimmers. At these two meets we learned the importance of warm down and preparing ourselves to swim fast at finals. 

Blue achieved 1 new senior state cut, 5 new AG state cuts, and 106 best times highlighted below.
