Age Group Two Meet Wrap-Ups
There is a lot to cover from February to May for Age Group 2. Our apologies for the delay in getting this recognition out to all the swimmers in Age Group 2.
Swimmers of the Month For February and March
Congratulations to our February and March swimmers of the month Bennett Basha, Xavier Quihuis, Tara Vankatrajan and Harlow Mancuso. Bennett, Xavier and Harlow all worked hard on their goals, were focused and continued to drop time and qualify for additional State events in February. All three swimmers participated in their first State meet as individuals and contributed to Gold Medals success. Tara dropped 1.5 seconds in her 50 free at Lost Dutchman and continues to work hard everyday focusing on the details of sets and drills. Congratulations to our February and March swimmers of the month!
Swimmers of the Month For April
Congratulations to our April swimmers of the month Ella Gonzales and Max Bailey. With move ups happening at the end of March both Ella and Max have stepped up as leaders on AG2. They are setting a great example with their commitment and work ethic. Max and Ella are also displaying tremendous attitudes everyday at practice. Both swimmers also went several best times at the April Invite\ including Max dropping 7 seconds in the 100 breast and Ella dropping over 12 seconds in the 100 fly. Great job Ella and Max and keep up the good work!

AG2 Takes April Opener by storm
April Meet Summary
It is really difficult to come off the end of an exciting short course season and then ramp up again in April for the long course season! Our swimmers really stepped up, made no excuses and all showed tremendous heart as they excelled at the April Invite. Not to mention many of our swimmers swam long course for the first time ever and the rest swam long course for the first time this season. Congratulations to all of our swimmers who participated!
