AG2 continues to sizzle this summer!  

May Meet Summary

We participated in two meets in May - May Cray and the Phoenix Summer Invitational.  Our swimmers continued to grow and compete early in the summer setting themselves up for an exciting championship season.  Here are some combined highlights from the May meets!

May Swimmers of the Month 

Congratulations to our May swimmers of the month Darren Hannah and Emilee Dembowski.   They are both really focusing on the little things needed for improvement and continuing to work hard.  Emilee and Darren are also showing great leadership in encouraging others during practice and meets.  Both swimmers also went several best times at the May meets including Darren dropping 4 seconds in the 100 free and Emilee dropping 8 seconds in the 300 IM  Great job Emilee and Darren!  Keep up the good work! 

June Meet Summary

The Starlight Meet presented a new challenge for our swimmers as many of them were competing and racing at times past their bedtime.  I have no doubt the experience gained in this meet will pay off in our championship meets, especially the prelim/finals format at State.  Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed in Starlight.  Here are some highlights!

June Swimmers of the Month 

Congratulations to our June swimmers of the month, our fabulous, fantastic 8u swimmers, River, Winnie and Aurora.   All three swimmers are improving so quickly and doing things in practice that are way above their age.  They are very competitive and want to keep getting better.  In addition they have positive fun attitudes and are great teammates.   Keep up the good work River, Winnie and Aurora!  We are very proud of you!
