Blue September Meet Wrap-up

Blue Parents and Swimmers:

Great racing this weekend. We did a fantastic job of hitting the small details as the races progressed and fatigue grew. All but a few had at least one best time, with the average best times around 3-4. I was not concerned with times at this meet, but rather how shifting the focus of the swim can still produce great times. 

Standout events:

            Audrey Botsios - 500FR 21-second drop & 100Br 9-second drop

            Enung Chong - 200FR broke 2:00 & 5-seconds drop in 50FLY

            Stella Daniels - Under 6:00 in 500FR with a 27-second drop

            Ryan Foley - 500Fr 10-second drop & 200FR 7-second drop

            Roman Fortson - 200FR 20-second drop

            Eric Gan - Boke 1:00 in 100FR & 7-second drop in 200FR

            Ellie Pena - 500Fr 18-second drop 

            Lucas Sun - 47-second drop in the 200FR

            Nathan Wang - First State cut achieved, 200FLY

            Gavin Zhu - 20-second drop in 500FR, 10-second drops in 200FR, 100FLY and 100BK
