Aqualaps is a long standing GSC swim-a-thon tradition. This annual fundraising event helps raise the funds necessary to support the club's activities (i.e. pool rental, equipment purchase, team travel, etc.) throughout the year. As a non-profit organization, the monthly dues that we charge our families are only part of the money required to cover all of the operational costs we see each season. Our swimmers' fundraising participation greatly helps raise the necessary funds that are critical to our program.

During the Aqualaps fundraising campaign, swimmers will be seeking lump sum pledge donations from family, friends and fellow community members. All swimmers should raise at least $350 during the fundraising period in order to have their annual membership fee waived.

GSC’s fundraising efforts will conclude on Saturday, May 11th at AGB when all our swimmers come together for a swim-a-thon event. Each swimmer is required to swim anywhere from 75 to 250 laps (1.07 - 3.55 miles), depending on their age, in order to fulfill their pledge obligations.

GSC’s 2024 team goal is to raise $78,000!

Ways to donate and support Glacier Swim Club:
- Donors can pledge online by clicking the green button. If you are making multiple credit card donations there is a 30 minute "cool down" period between transactions.
- Donations of any amount --cash or check-- can be turned in directly to the swimmers.
- Checks of any amount can be mailed to: Glacier Swim Club, PO Box 35382, Juneau, AK 99803. Please make the check payable to GLACIER SWIM CLUB and be sure to WRITE THE NAME OF THE SWIMMER in the check memo field so that we can be sure to credit the appropriate swimmer.
