Aqualaps $13,600 out of $75,000
Yes, you read that right! Just one week after the official kickoff party GSC swimmers have already brought in $13,600 in online donations and corporate sponsors.
A huge thank you to all the parents who stepped up last minute to fill as many empty shifts as possible at Safeway and Super Bear on our first weekend of fundraising. We did have some empty shifts and we need to make sure we avoid empty shifts in the future. If you haven’t already signed up for a shift, or your shift went better than you expected, find an empty shift and sign up.
March 20 will be the first week that money will be collected at both pools. All swimmers who have collected donations need to turn in the money this week. All swimmers who turn in money will be entered into the weekly prize raffle.

This week’s fundraising tips….
- Setting you your swimmer’s profile. Have you linked your swimmer’s profile to your Facebook page? How about emailing family and friends who might like to support your swimmer? If you need help setting up our swimmer’s profile check out the tutorial.
- Check with the corporate sponsor coordinator [email protected] to see if your favorite business is still available.
- Represent. Make sure your swimmer wears GSC gear (when available), greets people with a smile, is able to explain Aqualaps, is able to talk able what they like about GSC and swimming, thanks people whether they make a donation or not.
Happy fundraising!
