Aqualaps week 4: $32,647 of our $78,000 Goal
Keep up the good work! You all have raised $32,647! If you have not signed up yet, there are still table spaces available at Super Bear and Safeway. Please remind your swimmers of the following before you sit at the tables:
- All swimmers MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times. The ONLY exception is for High School swimmers.
- Remember that you are representing GSC...your behavior directly reflects on the club!
- Wear your GSC logo ware!
- Decorating Ideas: consider bringing a nice tablecloth, bring medals/ribbons/trophies, goggles, swim caps, team photo, etc. to personalize the table and make it more inviting.
- Consider bringing fresh baked cookies, a bowl of chocolates or the like to thank those who have donated.
- Bring a pledge collection jar. Please decide ahead of time how the swimmers (2 per shift) will split the money raised.
For example, divide equally at the end of the shift or alternate asking for pledges. - Use your manners! Stand up, greet people, and remember that please and thank you are important words!
- Know what Aqualaps is and be ready to talk about it. (Refer to the 'What is Aqualaps' and 'Lap Goals' section of your fundraising brochure.)
- Show up for your assigned shift! Please do not sign up and then not show up.
- If you are not able to make your shift, then please remove your name off the online sign-up sheet so others can take your spot.
