2025 Aqualaps - $46,847 of our $85,000 Goal

Happy Easter Swim Families! I hope you all had a great weekend.

We are further away from our goal than I would like to see this close to the end of our fundraiser. If you have not started fundraising yet, it is not too late! As a reminder, all swimmers must raise a minimum of $350, except for Sharks and Orcas who will be required to raise $450 this year. If you do not raise the minimum amount, please note, this will be charged to your account at the end of the Aqualaps. To avoid this additional fee, please sign up for a fundraising table, go around your neighborhood, or consider posting on your social media account with a link to donate towards your swimmer directly. Not sure how to do this, please let me know!

May 3rd - Aqualaps Swim Day! Swimmers may take as long as they need to complete their required laps - NO TIME LIMIT (please ignore the end time on your sign-up session - these are estimated blocks of time only)

All swimmers should bring someone (parent/guardian/etc.) to count their laps. 

1 Lap = 1 Length = 25 yards

  • Coho 75 lengths (1,875 yds. / 1.07 miles!)
  • Sockeye 125 lengths (3,125 yds. / 1.77 miles!)
  • Sealion 150 lengths (3,750 yds. / 2.13 miles!)
  • Chinook 175 lengths (4,375 yds. / 2.48 miles!)
  • Shark 200 lengths (5,000 yds. / 2.84 miles!)
  • Orca 250 lengths (6,250 yds. / 3.55 miles!)

Alaska Swimming State Champs is this weekend April 24 - 27. Congratulations to all the swimmers who are attending the meet this weekend! You have worked hard to get there, and we are all be cheering for you! GO GSC!
