Aqualaps $90,121 of $85,000 goal met

Melissa Cullum

A huge thanks to all the swimmers and parents for getting out there and raising so much money for the club. There were a few weeks there that I questioned whether we would make our goal, but as always the GSC family knows how make it happen!

If your swimmer missed Swim Day and needs to make it up, tomorrow is the only day to do it with Coach Scott. He will have tally sheets for the counters. Also if you didn’t complete the QR code on Swim Day for your incentive prize, please use this link.https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSde0Hne4AmfDApxCLdd3C9yx_7ZJVETIHbL8eZlBu45ODtKaA/viewform

All incentive prizes will be ready for pick up and the beginning of the swim season in August.

For those looking ahead the Aqualaps teams has several positions that need to be filled for next year's Aqualaps campaign. You can find a description of duties in the Aqualaps manual online. These volunteer positions make it easy to earn your required annual 20 volunteer hours.

Last, but not least, a special thank you to all the Aqualaps volunteers who work so hard to make this fundraiser a success. Without you all the behind the scenes magic would not be possible. I look forward to working with y'all again next year.

And on behalf of the Aqualaps team, the swim parents and swimmers a huge thanks and shout out to Coach Scott! You will be missed, but thank you for all your years of dedication to the swimmers in Juneau. You have helped cultivate a club that is the envy of many and we are all grateful to be a part of the club under your leadership. We couldn't have done it without you.

Sincerely,
