BGST offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Brea Glenbrook Swim Team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Brea Glenbrook Swim Team ---

Platinum Group 
This is our entry level group. An athlete should be able to swim the length of the Glenbrook pool to enter this group. 

Coach: Christine Denbo
Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, TH - 8:15 - 9:05 am


Bronze Group 
From the Platinum group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique. 
Bronze Group Coach: Brylee Denbo 
Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, TH - 9:10 - 10:00 am


Silver Group 
From the Bronze group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 10 years old. Athletes in this group continue to focus developing and cutting time in their four legal competitive strokes, and perfecting technique in a fun competitive environment. 
Silver Group Coach: Brylee Denbo
Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, TH - 8:00 - 9:10 am


Gold Group 
Minimum age for entry into this group is 12 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. 
Gold Group Coach: Gil Rotblum 
Workout Days/Times: M, T, W, TH - 7:00- 8:15 am

 

Masters Group

This is our all swimming levels ADULT group. An athlete should be able to swim the length of the Glenbrook pool to enter this group. This group is for for fitness, training or just for fun!  Swimmers do not compete, but sometimes do fun races together-totally optional though!
